NONS notifications: Last chance to get REACH registration number

ECHA has announced that the last chance has come to claim the REACH registration number for substances registered under the Dangerous Substances Directive, the predecessor of the REACH regulation.

The final option to claim the REACH registration number for a NONS substance notification is on 17 July 2022. Failing to claim the number, ECHA will mark the not-claimed registration number as no longer valid.

It has been possible to claim a REACH registration number for NONS notifications since 2008. As the frequency of NONS claims has almost ceased in the past years, ECHA now announces a full stop to the scheme.
