50 examples of substituting chemicals

The Danish Centre for Circular Chemistry has published two reports with inspiration and examples of how to substitute problematic chemicals. One of the reports is available in English.

The report Chemicals Substitution in Europe includes more than 50 cases of how European companies in sectors such as packaging and construction substitute chemical substances or develop new products without problematic chemicals. It also describes the role of European trade associations in connection with substitution.

The second report is about problematic chemicals as a barrier for circular economy. Some of the initiatives to reduce or eliminate these barriers are waste management and product development. This report is only available in Danish.
